The Headlines:

As a SUMMER FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE - NKA in Ontario, Canada you will be exposed to the ever growing, fast paced beverage industry. You will engage in real-world problem-solving and be immersed in social and educational opportunities with other interns.

The internship is full-time, beginning in May through August. Upon graduation interns may be eligible for full-time positions within Molson Coors Beverage Company.

The Responsibilities:

  • Experience the world of on-premise beverage alcohol sales from a behind-the-scenes perspective

  • Participate in summer sales rep training to understand our values, our brands, our company and processes of the summer rep role

  • Connecting with each National Account manager on the days you are assigned to work with them, understanding what needs to be done that day, prioritize and organize the assigned tasks, perform them in a timely manner, and relaying back to that National Account manager any issues, concerns or successes that you have experienced that day.

  • Conducting national account store audits to assess draught and packaged listings (competitive and MCBC) and conformance to targets as set out by the manager and the chain head office (no enforcement needed) and submit to NKA manager in a timely manner

  • Plan, organize, coordinate and manage daily assigned work

  • Execution of Promotions and Programs - Support the execution of core programming for Molson Coors in Restaurants, Bars, Venues, Local Events and Golf Tournaments

  • Merchandising - Setting up signage, merchandise and promotional materials at accounts and events.

  • Support other summer reps in other departments on an as needed basis (Sales, Sponsorships+Events, etc)

  • Represent Molson Coors as a brand ambassador with our consumers, customers, and members within your community

  • Communicate findings regarding industry trends, potential business opportunities to the Sales team

The Other Qualifications:

  • You are a third or fourth year pursuing a University or College degree

  • You have the ability and willingness to work a flexible work schedule if needed, including some evenings and weekends and light travel

  • You have a valid driver's license with no limitations/restrictions. You will be required to provide a recent copy of a Driver's Abstract You have (or can get) your Smart Serve Certificate (or provincial equivalent)

  • You are a resident of (or familiar with) assigned territory

  • You have an innate ability to build empathy with consumers, in particular millennials and diverse consumers.

  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome

  • You take accountability for results - acting with integrity and honoring commitments

  • You have a thirst for learning - you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
